Terms of service

These terms apply to orders on squaresofleather.com. Squares of Leather is a trading name of Dab Hand Investments Ltd (company number SC497072), Misty Law Cottage, West Glen Road, Kilmacolm, Inverclyde, Scotland, PA13 4PS.

The contract is between you and Dab Hand Investments Ltd. Contact harry@squaresofleather.com.

We sell mill leather as squares, sheets, custom cuts and hides. Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Payment is taken by Stripe at checkout. We may show other currencies as a guide only. You are charged in GBP.

When you place an order you offer to buy the items in your basket. We accept that offer when we send a confirmation or dispatch note. We may refuse or cancel an order if leather is no longer available, if there is an obvious pricing error, or if payment fails.

Title in the goods passes to you when we receive payment in full. Risk passes when the carrier collects the parcel.

Hides are sold as seen. Cut sizes are made to order. You are responsible for checking size, colour and quantity before you pay.

Nothing on the site is a warranty that a colour will match a previous hide exactly. Leather is a natural material.

We are not liable for loss of profit or other indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you buy as a consumer, you also have rights under UK consumer law that these terms do not take away.
